The October break marks the end of the academic session in October. It's a week-long holiday that commences from Monday, October 10th, to Friday, October 21st, 2022. However, kids won't return to their schools until Monday, October 31st, 2022.

Fife Christmas/New Year Holiday
The Christmas and New Year's Holidays start towards the end of the calendar year before Christmas and end after New Year.
This holiday lasts for two weeks, making it one of the lengthiest holidays for the session.
Schools across Fife will close by 2:30 pm on Thursday, December 22nd, 2022, to commence the holidays. The schools will resume on Wednesday, January 4th, 2023.
Fife February Break (Spring Midterm Holiday)
After the Christmas and New Year's Holidays, Fife schools won't have another break until Wednesday, February 15th, 2023.
Of course, this isn't Valentine's break, it is to mark the middle of the Spring term, and like other midterm breaks, it lasts for two days.
